Ditto. Just got back from two weeks in Maine with the family and restaurant eating is pretty indulgent.

Thanks! I don't feel old, but I am feeling kind of fat after a week and half of vacation which included sweets and restaurant food and very little exercise.

I was never going to have one, but my work gave it to me free (they pay the bills) so that I could be contacted more easily.

I don't even have a smart phone. My cell does nothing but make and receive calls and I still wish I could throw it away.

Thanks! They've been changing out my equipment here at work, which is the place that I usually access the internet, so I've been offline for a while. I hate browsing on my phone.

Hey, happy Birthday. I just barely made it in.

And they could have avoided that by simply making goals worth more, or catching the Snitch worth less, without otherwise changing the mechanics of the game. I mean, there's still something absurd about a game whose length is so widely variable that they would even let a game go for months (I think they said that had happened), but the Wizarding world is full of quirky stuff like that, so that alone wouldn't be enough to make it ridiculous as a sport.

That's my objection to a word. I don't care for sports, but I can be engaged by a good sports story. But it's ridiculous to have a game where it's standard for one player to undo even a massively great performance by the other team. It may as well be a sport of two Seekers.

I read both those, but I only picked up the Fantastic Beasts one. I've referred to it occasionally. I think, after reading it, that Rowling intended to imply that Crookshanks was at least part Kneazle. (In fact, the Harry Potter wiki says he IS half Kneazle, so either they portrayed fan speculation as established fact, or Rowling confirmed that somewhere.) It is at least interesting. The only thing I can say about the Quidditch one is that is was short. I literally remember nothing else about it. Like you, I found Quidditch not that engrossing. Don't know if that comes from the fact that I'm not big on sports in general, or that it seemed like a deeply stupid design for a sport (rather an extreme version of a single player on the team being the only really important one).
