  • What Would Your Favorite Hero Listen To?

This thought came to me while watching X2 tonight. Wolvie and gang escape the X-Mansion in Cyclops car. While driving Pyro turns on the radio to break the silence. The song that comes on is a Backstreet Boys song! It made me wonder, was that on the radio or did Cyclops own the cd?

So the question is, what do you think certain heroes listen to? List any hero from any medium you want.

    [EDIT]: Let's include villains, too.

I say Anti-Venom listens to Tool. Can you imagine?

"This is the strangest life I've ever known" The Doors
"What is this but my reflection, who am I to judge or strike you down?" TOOL
"I will move away from here, you won't be afraid of fear" Nirvana
"Don't disturb the beast" A Perfect Circle

Actually I seem to recall Flash (Barry) is a Big Band Jazz Fan so I'm thinking he likes stuff like Glenn Miller
Kyle: We Know listened to Nine Inch Nails Green Day among others....don't know too many others currently playing Linkin Park Maybe?
Hal: Hard rock or Action Movie Scores Not the current thumping rhythm based trend of score but the 70s-90's type stuff Williams, Horner etc... guys whose stuff you find yourself humming without thinking about it.
Connor: figure he likes low key meditative stuff but Hanging out with Mia or whoever he's probably been exposed to any number of groups.
Bruce: Opera...The More Tragic the Better.
J'onn: International he absorbs stuff like a sponge so he'll listen to music from all over the world.
Clark: Classic Rock 60's to 80's (never thought 80's would fall into that category) Mellankamp and Springsteen probably top his list
Ollie: Counter-Culture stuff Dylan, Hendrix, Doors, Joplin, etc...

Thought about this too after watching it not long ago. More than likely it was probably the radio but thinking a bit deeper into it I'm sure Jean rides with him/borrows his car and he probably drives younger students around as well.

Anyway I'd guess that when Peter's in the black suit state of mind (my favorite Spidey costume) he's probably listening to some heavy metal. Maybe something along the lines of Disturbed and not ripping off Saturday Night Fever. Normal Spidey probably jams to something like Muse or perhaps some Rise Against.

I figure some one like Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider probably listens to some Johnny Cash then when he's turned into his fiery alter-ego I'd say some White/Rob Zombie.

Mwahahaha it's too late! By now my army of cyborg baboons is poised to crush Washington D.C. As we all know once you take over Washington it's just one small step to the rest of the world!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have tickets to Carmen tonight and the half ape, half toaster, all bastard slaughter will still be here after I get back.
