I agree with your sentiment if you are talking about people trying to dictate what others should like or be allowed to see.

I have to say that I don't think one has a right to criticize that as a PERSONAL preference. People find attractive what they find attractive. I can't really fault anybody for their personal tastes when it comes to what kind of sexual activity they find appealing. I may not agree (or in some cases be able to remotely comprehend it), but I don't think getting bent out of shape over the fact that a lot of guys find gay male sex very unappealing to watch makes much sense.

I always thought the appeal of the celebrity sex tape was less about watching two people fuck and more about the novelty of watching something you were never meant to watch.

I've seen a lot of these celeb sex tapes, and I've found very few to actually be sexy. In fact, I can't think of one that even remotely turned me on. So you throw Neil Patrick Harris and Zachary Quinto on a sex tape together I'll probably watch it.

Depends on the context of the discussion. If you're calling a press conference to announce your gay, and I'm not saying this is the case with Quinto, then yeah it's a bit over the top in my opinion.

If a celebrity set up an interview just to let people know they were straight, you're damn right I'd assume they were being inappropriate and I'd probably make a dismissive remark or two.

If being gay comes up naturally, in the span of an interview, then you'd actually pique my interest in what you had to say.

But in any case, if you think you're revelation might hinder your career, then you might consider choosing what you share with the world carefully. In this pussy whipped PC world we live in, everyone has to be careful what they share about themselves. Look at Tom Cruise or someone like Mel Gibson, both of whom have let aspects of their personality cast a negative light on their careers.

Rap music is damn near nothing but dudes talking about how much pussy they wanna pipe. I don't hear anyone telling them to keep it private.

Then you obviously don't live in the south, where rap music is criticized pretty heavily about raps view on women, and their attitude towards criminal living.

As for lesbians getting better treatment then gays, honestly I have no clue. It's not hard for me to imagine a double standard existing for lesbians being treated better, but then again every lesbian I know (IRL) looks like me. So you'd know better than I do on that.

Given the lesbians that I know, I can't imagine that the reality of two women together is anything like the straight fantasy of two women together.
