    Day 9 --- Best Supervillain

    The Riddler

I should pick a GL villain, but I go back and forth on my favorite. I've always liked the Riddler's style, though, whether he's a prankster bank robber or a deadly threat.

[I'm also immensely grateful that Nolan never got a crack at him or I'm convinced he would've worn a biker outfit and told one riddle in a three hour movie.]

My all time favorite. Sinestro is one of the characters that I think got better with time, and Johns' run developed him by leaps and bounds for the better.

Well, Lois and Clark is the prototypical superhero power couple, but (as you might guess from some of the above choices), I have a real soft spot for sector neighbors

Day 10 -- Favorite Superhero Couple

                  John Stewart and Katma Tui.

In retrospect, their relationship was short lived, at least considering how long I've been reading Green Lantern at this point in my life. But at the time when I was a kid, it seemed like a long time. John and Katma together were always my favorite super hero couple. My others would be Hawkman/Hawkwoman, and Green Arrow/Black Canary.

Maybe that's why Peter likes her more.

Day 11 - Saddest Superhero Scene

Two come to mind. One is from Grant Morrison's We3, the only comic to make me cry. The other is this one which was the first to come to mind, so it wins out.

Really all of "Emerald Twilight" was very disturbing to me (though no comic has ever made me literally cry) at the time. If I had to pick one moment, it was probably the no-going-back-now murder of Kilowog. At one and the same time, it was the death of a beloved GL and the fall of a hero.

Other contenders would be Katma's murder, Ch'p's accidental death, and (to a lesser extent) the death of Superman, though for the latter I realized (even as a tween) that it wouldn't be permanent.

I wanted to go with Harley Quinn, but she isn't much of a bad guy these days. Not that Venom is now, but he was so captivating when he hit the pages of Marvel. So, I'm going with him.

I was so upset with the events of One More Day, that I stopped reading Spider-Man for over a year.

                                Day 8 - Superhero Crush
Black Cat - This is the type of girl that would flirt with and tease you, without giving up that ass until you have a bad case blue balls. But, every fiber in your being relishes the opportunity to smash. That said, the journey to getting up in that would be fun and invigorating.

This was a fleeting relationship, but I'm going with John Stewart and Shayera Hol on JL: TAS. While you could feel the sexual tension, you never thought that it would really happen... until it did.

                                Day 11 - Saddest scene
Venom kills Miles Morales' mom. In the ultimate scheme of things, this death was rendered moot after the events of Secret Wars II.
