  • Day 28 -- Superhero Show/Movie You Want To See But Haven't

If I leave aside that my heart wants to see a GOOD Green Lantern or Swamp Thing movie because they unfortunately HAVE been done (same with GA and Flash on tv), I'll play nice and go with a favorite property that hasn't been done yet.

I have several remaining properties on my want list, so this is a tough one for me. In the end, I want a straight up Spectre horror flick. R rated with all the gory trimmings.

I'm very excited for The Punisher tv series as I always thought he lent himself to that format far better than the big screen. I'd also like to see a S.H.I.E.L.D. series that was taken a lot more seriously and given a much better budget and less typical network tropes. Something that hasn't been adapted before though? Maybe X-Force. At this point, I just want to read my DC favorites and not stress over their adaptations.

Well, I really wanted to see the last X-Men movie but missed it in theaters.

I guess this is true for me, too. I can't think of any other Superhero movie I want to see (and is out now, otherwise I'd say LEGO Batman) but haven't.

          Well, unless you count this...

          • Day 20 – Favorite Villain Team
            Superfriends’ Legion of Doom

Day 21 – Favorite Weapon, Armor or Gear
A Green Lantern Power ring. (It used to be) The most powerful weapon in the universe.

Day 22 – Most shocking Superhero moment
            Hal kills Sinestro.

Day 23 – Superhero whose story you wish continued
Firestorm from Blackest night aftermath. I thought the dynamic between Raymond and Rusch was great, but when the NU52 started, they killed that storyline and completely changed it and the characters. It’s probably the main reason the book was never successful. Well, that and making a "Firestorm Corps."

Day 24 – Superhero that should have stayed dead

Day 25 – Least Favorite Superhero
            Booster “Buster” Gold.

Day 26 – Favorite quote from any Superhero

Day 27 – Comic, Animation or Live Action?
I prefer animation as that’s what initially got me into comic books.

Day 28 – Superhero Show/Movie you want to see but haven’t
Netflix Daredevil. I’m waiting for the DVD release since I don’t stream. I only watched the pilot, but have heard nothing but good things about this show.

            • --Day 29 -- Most Badass Scene from any Superhero --

I'm tempted to go with the first time Hal defeated a guardian, but that was more of a team effort, so I'll go with "one punch."

For something more heroic, though, I'd go with a small but impressive moment in Adventures of Superman 631. While doing his usual Metropolis stuff, Clark is monitoring Lois' investigation in an Afghanistan-rip-off country, when he hears a shot that hits her. Before she hits the ground, he catches her half way around the world. That's the kind of Superman stuff I love.

One of my favorite moments ever. Batman, already suffering from mental issues, but still fucking Batman does his thing to set off a huge chain of events to get the job done. I need to go read Morrison's Batman run again, its been far too long.

                • If it's comics only then I'm going with when Batman paints a whole room yellow in All-Star Batman

If movies, tv, etc. count then I go with this

                  + YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Yeah, I looking forward to the Punisher Netflix series. I thought the introduction of the character in season 2 of Daredevil was finally the right take on the character, in that, he shouldn't have a love interest or soft spot and that's he's beyond redemption.

I would definitely love to see Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force team on the big screen, with Olivia Munn as Psylocke. I'd definitely have a huge nerdgasm if that ever happened.

I love that scene. It's awesome.

However, I have to go with a past his prime Batman, and my second favorite line by a super hero (just a tad behind the Spidey, "with great power..." line), which is,

                    " This isn't a mudhole... It's an operating table... and I'm the surgeon. "

The first thing that came to mind was when Spiderman beat down Firelord in the middle of the street.

Gotta hand it to Batman...not many people can say they made Superman their bitch. I just love the ego stroking Bruce has going on for himself here. It's almost orgasmic for the guy, getting the best of Clark.
