you forget sinestros constructs are powerfull so that video dosent really do anything other then show sinestro can make a construct with a flintch

I'm not sure how Hal could lose this. I mean, what kind of offense does Cap have that could even touch Hal? And what defense does he have against the kind of stuff the ring can do? Hal would have to make some very, very stupid choices for Captain America to have a chance in a fight.

Obviously that COULD happen, in a comic where the story decreed Cap should win. Just look at Kyle vs. Deathstroke in Identity Crisis. Deathstroke had to win, so Kyle, wearing the most powerful, and versatile, weapon in the universe, and having the ability to FLY and attack from a distance, had to decide to come down and try to PUNCH Deathstroke, easily one of the dumbest moves I can recall seeing.

Kyle isn't stupid, but since being stupid was the only way for him to fail that spectacularly, he was forced to be stupid for that battle. Something similar might give Cap a win over a GL, but that's about it.

Withstand the vibrations? Can it "withstand the vibrations" of Hal making a bubble around him and sucking the air out? Can it "withstand the vibrations" of being attacked simultaneously from all directions? How about just scooping him up and flinging him? Hal (or any GL) has too many options, and Cap has no offensive capability that could touch him, that I know of.

If Hal was willing to just stand there shooting green bullets at his shield, from one direction, long after it was clear that wasn't working, long enough that he ran out of power, then yeah, he would lose.

But what would the strategy be? That's what I'm not seeing. Hal can move faster, he can fly, he can easily resist Cap's offensive weapons (unless he's got something I'm unaware of), he has greater range, he has greater power, he has a near infinite number of options for attacks, and can attack from multiple directions simultaneously. I'm just not sure what strategic insight would compensate for that list of advantages. I mean Batman would have some kind of GL repellant spray in his utility belt or something, but I'm not sure Cap has that level of plot protection...

Just as a sidenote: I was watching Captain America two nights ago, and last night I watched GL. Instead of a "versus" situation, I thought it would be great if they teamed up because I can see a lot of similarities between the two: fighting for justice, beings of immense power, personal struggles that lead them to what they are today.....dunno, it just came to me in a thought last night.
