Idea for the next draft

So...I can draft the Robot from Robot Chicken, but not Seth Green, yes?

You can draft Seth Green if there's a fictionalized version of him running around somewhere (like in the Movie Character Draft, where I drafted actors playing fictionalized versions of themselves: Jean-Claude Van Damme in JCVD, Chuck Norris in Sidekicks, NPH in Harold and Kumar, etc.)

I'm kind of hoping that the ban isn't just on the Enterprise. I know if somebody nabs Sisko, I'm counting it against them. The idea here seems to be to make a crew from NON-Trek characters. (Characters that are played by actors that have been on Trek are OK, though? As long as the CHARACTER isn't a Trek character? So if some fool wanted T.J. Hooker as their Head of Security, that'd be OK?)

Yeah, I guess we could make it non-Trek characters. I specified Enterprise because I wanted to leave it open to people to draft other Trek characters. I could open it to non-Starfleet if someone wants to pick a villain, but I suppose Non-Trek is basically the same thing.

And yes, Characters played by Trek actors are fine as long as the character isn't a Trek character. So you can pick TJ Hooker or Professor X, just not James T. Kirk or Jean-Luc Picard.

You do what you want, it's your idea. I just thought that picking other Trek characters wouldn't be as interesting as trying to make a crew out of all non-Trek characters. But that doesn't mean it has to be against the rules. It just means I won't pick any, and I'll be less inclined, personally, to vote for teams that do.

I'd be okay with that, but I don't think we'd get many other people to feel the same. Even if it was just a couple of sentences of generic plot.

With the amount of comic book nerds on here. No one has an amazing Superman or Walking Dead story they would want to see made?

Eh, oh well. I'm down for whatever, just thought there should be an interesting twist if we do another comic book draft.

I could always do another round of the cartoon character draft. Heck we could combine the two and pick cartoon characters to make up a super team (though not all have powers so that may not work)

Should we just do Indie comics next? Or open it to all publishers at once?
