Idea for the next draft

I'm up for Heide's period adaptation or real musician band draft.

How about another adaptation draft where we adapt a comic book in the year it came out? Like a Watchmen movie starring mid-80s actors, or a "Death of Gwen Stacy" starring 70s actors? That way, we can cast actors when they were still in their prime, or when they were still alive?

That's... kinda interesting, actually. Like comic book period pieces. I could dig that.

If it's a band draft that involves real musicians, I'd be willing to run that one; I'm less inclined to join that one then I am one fictional musicians, but I'd offer to run both as well.

I do believe at one point (about 4 years ago, I think), Heide run a band draft where we had to draft musicians that are dead, which I thought was cool. Fictional characters does sound interesting too. Whichever way we go about doing it though, I MAY run it. Don't hold me to that, though. It is just a suggestion, after all.

There have been both versions of the idea, both real musicians and fictional musicians. However, to the best of my knowledge, the one with real people was limited to those who were still alive.

I seem to recall a previous one where folks cast fictional characters as band members. No idea if that is what is intended this time, or if it is casting actual musicians.

I'll be sitting out either way. I'm not musically literate enough to put together a team.

That would actually be cool. So we'd cast musicians (can we include dead ones or ones who have aged?) into a band, and we could name it and everything? :3

Either way we haven't done a political one in a while whilst we've done adaptation and hero drafts over and over again.

I prefer not to mix politics into my silly drafting fun...especially since we aren't even all in the same country, so our local political references wouldn't necessarily make sense to each other.
