What about teenagers who just say that they're too old for them for the sole purpose of trying to look more mature even though most people don't think they're mature anyway?

Well it never got past the posting peoples picks stage. Plus no offense, but I think the idea was a bit........well I didn't particularly like it.Originally posted by Mister Ed View PostI'm not sure what you mean by "not going anywhere". All the teams were picked, and the first round was already complete (possibly the second, too, I don't remember). The only way in which it was "not going anywhere" was when West stopped posting the following rounds. Otherwise, it was "going somewhere" just as much as any draft that had already been picked.
To me, "not going anywhere" is a better description for a draft that, despite repeated attempts to interest folks in it, has never even gotten to the drafting stage. Can anybody think of a draft that fits that description?

Yeah, I'm inclined to see the statement of being "too old for cartoons" as as sign of IMmaturity more than anything else. Not liking cartoons is one thing. Tastes differ, and not everybody likes the same stuff, but saying one is "too old" for them always sounds like somebody is afraid of other people seeing them as young.Originally posted by Lantern A-train View PostThere is no such thing as too old for cartoons.

Now WHO could we possibly mean. It must be someone fairly new as he probably hasn't formed as strong a BOND as some of usOriginally posted by Mister Ed View PostI'm not sure what you mean by "not going anywhere". I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

What the hell are you talking about. The comics as tv draft had a whole voting round take placeOriginally posted by Deadpool View PostWell it never got past the posting peoples picks stage. Oh right. Well I think I dropped out, so I wouldn't know. In that case, either do one very quickly or just leave it in the past, which is where personally I'd put it. People have probably forgotten about it by now anyway.
Either way, I think we should do another draft at the same time too.

Well, to be fair, one of those did come about eventually. I just found it funny that he criticised a draft that had teams fully picked and at least one round of voting as "not going anywhere" and then in the very same post proposed, yet again, the draft idea that is the poster boy for "not going anywhere".Originally posted by Lantern A-train View PostNow WHO could we possibly mean. Just out of curiousity, what did you guys think of shows like Baby Looney Tunes, Tiny Toon Adventures, Muppet Babies. and A Pup Named Scooby Doo?

Ok, it went somewhere, just not very far. Like a mile or so down the road, but not really very close to the end goal. Does that analogy make sense?Originally posted by Mister Ed View PostWell, to be fair, one of those did come about eventually. Loved all those cartoons Booster.
So what's this about Comic Book Cartoon draft? Like making an cartoon out of a comic book property? Would be drafting voice actors or characters? Because if we're just drafting characters, we might as well just make it a movie/tv show thing again with the option to be a cartoon.

Characters and voice actors I guess, cuz I'd prefer the draft be just Saturday morning cartoonsOriginally posted by W.West View PostLoved all those cartoons Booster.
