I don't mind another Hero Draft, but I would like to call an embargo on comic book characters. After three Hero drafts, two Villain Drafts, an Avengers and a Justice League draft, yet another one would seem like overkill. We could limit ourselves to movie characters, video game characters, novel characters or a combination of those three.

Not sure how this would work and also not sure we have enough Pokemon fans. But I was thinking a Pokemon Trainer draft. Where you draft a fictional character as a pokemon trainer, then you pick which Pokemon will be in their line-up. Or we could expand it into an Elite Four vs. Elite Four type deal.
So for instance, someone might draft Casper and he would have all Ghost Type Pokemon. Then they could have face off battles, and depending on the various types, it would determine who wins. Sort of like how the D&D draft was all about which team would be best suited for the scenarios.Last edited by JohnnyV; 09-26-2014, 07:04 PM.

What we really need to do is somehow figure out what kind of draft would actually attract people to vote. I mean, yeah, most of the fun of these, IMHO, is just making the teams, but still, when you have matchups with a TOTAL of 4 people voting...that's kind of disappointing.

I guess you could exclude any character that ORIGINATED in a comic.

To my mind, you wouldn't even have to decide on some rigorous definition for "sidekick". If you think they are a sidekick, go ahead and draft them. If others don't agree with that designation that just means you may lose some votes. Might want to decide if we should limit it to fictional characters, though. Might be amusing to have a team with the likes of Art Garfunkel and Ed McMahon, but maybe we don't want to go there...Last edited by Mister Ed; 09-26-2014, 10:32 PM.

Well I think sidekicks are lame, but I do like the idea of a sidekick draft. Only problem is there's only so many sidekicks out there, it'll be hard doing a draft with sidekicks in. Maybe if we drafted small teams for that draft, maybe 3-4 members in?Originally posted by IonFan(even if the ear sucking helped get me off faster)Originally posted by Big Daddy CaesarIf I had things like the internet and a laptop as a kid, I never would have left my room as a teenager.Originally posted by QuakerI am the Geoff Johns of the GLCMB.

I dunno. I've already got ideas for two full seven-member rosters. Though I admit that several of my picks would be likely to be snagged by somebody else...
