No, any robot (essentially any self-controlling machine) of some kind would suffice. A vehicle only counts if it operates itself.

I would. I suppose you should also clarify (if you care) what kinds of animation are allowed, 2D, 3D, stop motion, etc.

I'd guess that stop motion wouldn't be allowed, since it doesn't usually fall under the name "cartoon", and there are only a few shows anybody would likely use characters from even if it were allowed (I know I'd be tempted to pick Gumby if it were an option), but if you don't want 3D computer animated characters, you better state that up front or I bet some will show up.

You might want to specify that you can't have two team members from the same show, unless you figure that the lameness of casting your whole team (or even a large chunk of it) from the same show (without a darn convincing reason) would likely be penalty enough come voting time if anybody tried it.

I suppose. I think most people know at least a few anime series.

Personally, I like the idea of it being an animated TV show draft. That was kind of the thing that attracted me to the idea, anyway, revisiting all those TV show memories.

If it's just general animation, I guess that's cool too (though if so, I REALLY want it to be open to ALL kinds of animation. Once you open up movies, the stop motion animation choices get pretty interesting). It just won't be what I thought the idea was.

Nothing wrong with that, though.

I think I'm gonna limit it to just TV. There are a wealth of properties to choose from even in the world of anime. I am contemplating the stop motion as that would allow you to pick shows like Davey & Goliath or Thunderbirds.
