Double Dragon is the story of Billy and Jimmy, brothers who learned to fight on the cold, tough streets of their Chicago. When Billy cleans up his act, he runs off to London with new girlfriend Marian. Jimmy's rough lifestyle brings him into a huge debt with a Tokyo crime lord. When Jimmy reaches out to his brother for help, he's met with rejection. Unfortunately, Jimmy was spotted with Marian by the psycho henchmen known as Machine Gun Willy. Willy kidnaps Marian which turns Jimmy's story of debt to Billy's fight for love.

I've made my opinions known, obviously there's nothing I can do to reason with you people. If art-house Double Dragon doesn't win this, expect flaming bags of dog shit on your porches. And if you don't have a porch, outside the door to your apartment. If you don't have an apartment, outside the cardboard box you live in that's outside the McDonalds you're stealing internet from in order to vote...

        Yeah, gotta go with DD.

Nothing beats cheesy 80's martial arts.

I've gotta say, this is kind of a bummer for me, as these are two of the proposals I was LEAST excited about (though not THE least, as I voted for each of them once before). I can't really vote for the one I'd most like to see, since neither really interests me all that much, just due to personal preferences.

Still, as far as violent movies go, I have to say I MUCH prefer martial arts to constant gunplay. So I guess I'll go with Double Dragon. But don't expect me there on opening night.

I don't expect anyone there opening night, because like your Burton movie, its a lowbudget beauty. The biggest expense would be to pay for Emma Watson. lol

Eh, Watson would do it, she needs some art-house cred to follow her involvement in the Potter movies.

Gosling? That is a dude. Give me a T&A reason to vote. Preferably of the scantly clad or not clad at all variety.

Jennifer lawrence is getting to be almost as bad as kristen lawrence when it comes to facial expressions.

Every picture i see its the same half ass smile.

Uh-oh! You dissed Channing Tatum! Beware the backlash!

(Yes, yes, I know I really lost because nobody ever heard of my game, and action films are more popular than quirky animated ones. But the Channing Tatum backlash theory is a comforting delusion. )
