On looking at some panels from the book, I imagined the dragon as male. Is it identified as female at some point in the narrative? Having the big, nasty dragon voiced by a woman is seeming odd to me, unless there is a solid reason for it from a story perspective...

Wonder Woman vs Adam Strange. Two of my favs. Lets break it down.

          JLA: A League of One
+ A Wonder Woman centric animated adaptation. I want that to happen and this is a decent choice that WB might actually select from. There aren't too many Justice League stories that have Wonder Woman playing the central role.

          - That damn dragon seems like such a terrible plot.

+ Cast with DCAU staples. Good director.

          Adam Strange
+ James Cameron is amazing. He'd bring Rann to life.

          - Not sure if Josh Holloway is a movie star. And Ben Kingsley seems like an uninspired selection for Sardath.

          - Why Kanjar Ro over any other space villain? You're a GL reader, surely you know of many. I'm curious as why Kanjar needed to be here over any other. Even the usually weak Starbreaker has history with Adam.

Two pluses means you'll vote for me right?

I wanted Aaron Eckhart, but he got taken. Josh Holloway has the look, and I thought he could handle the role. But you could be right.

As for Sardath, well, I'm a fan of Ben Kingsley, personally. And he definitely seems to look the part, so I'm happy enough with that pick.

Why Kanjar Ro? I'll admit, didn't give it a whole lot of thought. I just looked up who were enemies of Adam Strange, and picked one that seemed like he could be a good antagonist. He's a scheming manipulator as much as he is a warlord, which can make for a fun villain, one who tries to ingratiate himself, and conquer through guile, showing his true colors only when he is discovered, or when his plans are far enough along that it no longer matters. But I didn't give it as much thought as I probably should have, I admit. I only joined the draft to make you happy, West! I thought I mentioned that.

Surprisingly, yes, for the moment. I haven't even voted yet. Not sure I will, as I really like your proposal as well. Well, except for a woman voicing the dragon, but I'm hoping there is a story reason for that, that I'm just not aware of.

Is this the one where Ben Kingsley turns out not to be Sardath but a paid British actor?

No, no point to that. Sardath isn't a big fan favorite, so the impact of pulling that sort of thing would be miniscule.

Man, I wish it wasn't Josh Holloway headlining as Strange. I mean, I can see how he looks the role, but... and how do I put this delicately... I feel like Adam Strange should be smart. Josh Holloway... he doesn't emit an air of intelligence to me, IMO.
