Highlander video game... doesn't look half bad.

There is a two page layout in the February Game Informer, and it looks like the game is coming along quite nicely. Here are some pics I scanned. I know there are some Highlander fans here that aren't over on the HLBB, so I decided I should post these here as well. For those who don't know, the game will be available on the PS3, PC, and the XBox 360. Enjoy.

i've got to admit, i'm really waiting for this game...

it's going to seriously kick ass!!!

It will be a third-person action adventure that spans over 2000 years, giving you a chance to explore feudal Japan, medieval Scotland, a futuristic vision of New York and Pompeii before the historical volcanic eruption.

9 navigations features - Dagger climbing, Ropes, Dynamic ladders, Swan dive, Freefall, Traverse climbing, Cannonball, Beams, Ziplines

Quickening techniques - Resurrection, Chi balance (stamina), Weapon Mastery (Fireblade, Wind Fury, Stone Armor), Channeling the Source (charge up for powerful attacks)

77 characters - New main character -- Owen Macleod, Characters from the TV series will be making prominent appearances with voiceovers from Peter Wingfield (Methos) , Elizabeth Gracen (Amanda) , Werner Stocker (Darius), Jim Byrnes (Joe Dawson) and Nadia Cameron (Rebecca Horne)

Sounds like it's more inspired by the anime than the movies or show. And that's just fine with me.

Does anyone remember that god awful Highlander cartoon that was on TnT in the morning? The one set after the apocalypse?
