Hey guys, I wasn't sure if I should start a new thread but I had a couple ideas to keep us entertained:

I'll start off with:
1. doctor: tie between Baker & Tenant
2. companion: tie between Sarah Jane and Rose
3. The K-1 Robot.

5 enemies I want back in the series:
1. K-1 Robot (come on, so space traveller could rediscover Professor Kettlewell's plans and improve on them).
2. The Zygons
3. Davros (assuming he is not dead)
4. Mr. Sin FTW!
5. Sutekh and his robot mummies.

3. Fenric (How did the Doctor trap him in the first place? Is he at all related to the fish people / vampires of Venice?)

Well, I've only seen the new series (and a couple of episodes of the older stuff) so here's what I can give my (limited) input on:

Doctor: Tennant
Companion: Martha Jones, though I quite liked the kid in the TV Movie
Enemy: I forget which Dalek it is that went crazy (I think it was Caan) but that one! lol

as for old enemies, I don't know enough about them. Davros could come back... bringing the Time Lords and the Master back again would just be too gimmick-y (even The End of Time was pushing it with the Master...) The pre-2005 stories I saw were Five Doctors and the TV Movie, where the villains were Rassilon and the Master, respectively, so I dunno lol.

Oh man, you've got to see more. Those aren't great examples. I'd try the first DVD set (An Unearthly Child/The Daleks), some typical-but-good Baker (The Talons of Weng Chiang or The Deadly Assassin). At some point you'll want to see The Caves of Androzani, which is often voted best ever.

I am interested to see how they are gonna go about doing season 6, since they are stopping it mid season in the Spring and Bringing it back in the Autumn, and the Mid-season finale apparently being a game changing cliffhanger episode, and the first two episodes of the season featuring River Song.

Good idea, sir.

One thing that strikes me about 'The Next Doctor' and 'The Pandorica Opens' is how the Cyberman in those episodes got there, as all the Lumic Cybermen were supposedly sucked back into the Void in 'Doomsday'.
It is stated outright in 'The Next doctor' that those Cybermen came through the Void... but not how they came through: There's no reference as to whether the Cyberman in 'The Pandorica Opens' is a Lumic model or an updated 'Classic' model...
Could the Lumic models have transmitted a message while they were in this universe which led to Classic Cybermen to upgrade themselves? Could there therefore have been a war as different factions of Cybermen accepted or resisted that message? (data from an unauthorised/unverified source)
(The initial thought was good but reading it back, it seems a bit simplistic)

Yup, you got it0 Dalek Caan. He was the last remaining member of the cult of Skarro to flee during the whole Daleks in Manhattan story.
