  • The latest episode of Doctor who. God, awful! The whole thing was done badly and once again, rushed. In the olden days, or even the RTD days, they would have done the whole "an old western town lives with alien thing" more… realistic. I hated how the doctor just went to a random town, and then one minute he's at a bar, the next he's behind some pice of wood, then he finds this random town has electricity, then… you know what? I can't bring myself to finish the story. Then again, my relatives were talking over the whole episode, so I couldn't get into it anyway, but I think I'd still give it a negative review. Moffat's gotten to childish lately, dinosaurs on a spaceship, cyborgs in the wild west, tree people in a christmas special, and the dalek episode felt rushed, could have been an epic two parter, could have even been a great RTD style arc, but now Moffat's used the asylum of the dalek theme, and we can never use it again, maybe we could have an asylum of the cybermen, but done well in the future. Also hated how the daleks were too scared to go down to a planet. They're daleks, I thought they had no emotions. Fucking idiot Moffat. Honestly, Moffat seems to the the Geoff Johns of Doctor who, retconning stuff and making stuff generally worse. At least Johns work is slightly average, but Moffat's is a trainwreck.

I don't even know what the hell the next episode will be like, but it will most likely be a disappointment like the rest (although I had such low expectations for dinosaurs on a spaceship, I found it better than I thought it'd be. Still sucked balls though). And WTF is with the doctor being about 300 years older than he was about 2 years ago? He would have aged by then, remember in the sound of drums the master aged the doctor by 100 years and he could barely stand? Smith should be near crumbling by now. And in his lifetime, he's been adventuring with the Ponds for 300 years then, WTF has he done to fill the rest of the time. I thought it was bad enough when they changed him from about 600 to 900. But 1200, Jesus dude. He should be in his 13th body by now. As I said earlier, Geoffcon! (But with Moffat).

Well if you look at the first Doctor he was an old man but still a few hundred years old and that was only one regeneration. The forth Doctor stated at one point that he was a teenager for 50 years. So from this we can assume that one regeneration should be able to age 200 hundred years without much change. http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/The_Doctor's_age

Well the first Doctor seemed to be 200 at regen (based on #2's journal) and he was visibly old, so you'd think he'd show signs by now.

Still. It's rediculess. Besides, the tenth doctor aged by about one year per season, must mean be was the tenth doctor for abour five years. Don't see why Smith should last so long. I was happy with him being in his 900s.

Ha, well on the trek BBS (star trek forum), they all love this new Moffat crap. They regard the doctors wife as a great episode, but it sucked.

He should atleast be going grey by now.

I'm sure I contibute to the miasma of misery since I tend to be an "Old School" kind of guy—prefer original DW, orig. Trek etc etc., but I'm not completely against NuWho. I still watch and enjoy the show. In this one I liked the preacher.

                    • The lattest episode was good for Moffats standards, but average for RTDs. I think Moffat needs more episodes set during the current day.

I'd be more excited if it weren't for one thing:

                        River. Fucking. Song.

WHY is she still in this show? She stopped being interesting after "The Big Bang." Maybe even after "Flesh and Stone." I'm done with her. Just have her go off to the Library now. Please.

                        • Next week is the return of the Angels and the departure of the Ponds from the show.

Will the Ponds die? I think so or at least one of them will based on how the Doctor looked at Amy during the slow invasion with sadness, I think he knows already.

                            • I can't wait untill the Ponds leave, I hope they get killed so there is no chance of ever seeing them ever again. I hope they die in pain too, it'll be funny! 9I know, I'm dark, but I'm so fed up with them, it'll be a relief to see them suffer). Lots of crying, screaming, and a bit of blood, that's what I want. If this was torchwood or annother adult show, I'd ask for lots of blood and guts and organs. Ooh, ooh, and bones being crushed!

                              • I have a felling one or both are gonna be sent back in time by the angels.

BTW: IMHO RTD's eps were...ok. Some were great, but others were just ok. I for one like the new stuff coming from DW a lot. But my heart is still with the old stuff. My fav time was spent watching Tom Baker as the Doctor
