Actually I was responding to the manga thread. I think Dre is a terrible rapper and a horrible producer. My close friend and buddy Percy wrote Dre's lyrics for "Chronic" which proves otherwise that Dre isn't even a creditable rapper. Furthermore, Eazy was originally a real life gangster, There was no one realer than him. He was a Kelly Park Crip. Dre was wearing lipstick and shaking his ass to James Brown. Get out of here with Dre's new music, Dre is a fossil he's done for. No one cares rap is dying and Dre sure as hell isn't going to resurrect it. That I can assure you. I'd rather listen to the music where it counts people like Wu-Tang Clan, Charizma, Paris, Del, Jeru tha Damaja, Madlib, J Dilla. I can name a ton of a rappers that are top quality that never get old. In my eyes all of the old Death Row "rappers/producers" are all irrelevant today.

everyone knows dre dosent write his own stuff theres no doubt about it. but i do find him a amazing producer though. and also remember ice cube wrote boyz in the hood for eazy e im not denying eazy e wasnt a crip but cube ghost writ boyz n the hood for him though.

Everyone knows that Eazy even admitted that Cube wrote most of his lyrics but they did them together. There's a difference. Eazy admitted wholeheartedly that Cube and him wrote together. So it's like a collaboration of ideas. However, Dre doesn't do that he hired Percy Carey to write his entire chronic album and all of his lyrics afterward as a ghost writer. If you listen to Percy aka MF Grimm, You'll hear his lyrics are identical to what he wrote for Dre. You know people by lyrics and Percy is one that can't just be mistaken for anyone. Dudes style is sick! Dre took full credit on those lyrics and claimed he wrote them starting a beef. Hence why Dre left the spotlight for so long because he was embarrassed, I would be too if I claimed some other rappers lyrics were my own.

i think hiphop is dying because guys like rakim dont get any air play... his last album the 7th seal had no swearing so why wouldnt the radio stations bump it? because todays radio hosts care about the bubble gum bullshit hiphop and not the real shit. i look at underground ringers like ya'boy whos from bay area cali and pappose from the bronx and they havent gotten a deal yet. if your up to it look up ya'boy 100 bars of death and papoose a fair one cause papoose murdered fat joe with that joint. hiphop todays to comercial now even with a solo album. i like the game but hes honestly better on mixtapes than he is on his last 3 studio albums

look at jay z for instance he stole alot of rappers styles... dre isnt the only one guilty here. jay z stole pacs biggies slick rick and snoops material. and when i mention the whole jay z ordeal ppl go well that aint true bla bla bla.

Rakim Allah is a fucking legend, Enough said. He's what put rappers on what to do today in the industry. He might not get any credit but you know who he is and you know what he's about.
