That interview makes me optimistic. I feel like I share a lot of opinions on GL with this author. I liked the stuff he mentions liking in GL's past. And he expresses the same way I felt about Emerald Twilight and its aftermath, where I enjoyed the introduction of Kyle Rayner, but thought that the way they had Hal go "off the rails" didn't make sense.
