  • Real Life "Superheroes" fight crime in WA State! Inspired by "Kick-Ass", perhaps?

Just saw this on the Facebook feed from my favorite local news station here in the DC area...

In the Seattle, Washington area, there's a group of REAL LIFE "SUPERHEROES" defending the residents from the criminal element! It's like Mark Millar's comic & movie Kick-Ass, but IN REAL LIFE... except I'm pretty sure these heroes haven't killed anyone!!!

Check out the article HERE, and also check out this news segment on YouTube:

Too. Cool. I wish I had the balls and the physical fitness level necessary to do something like that.

Stuff like this has been going on for a while now. They have a whole registry of "heroes" and their locations

I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

Yea. Alot of those people dress up and travel as part of their neighborhood watch programs.

Probably because the city doesn't want to spend the money to prosecute these guys and it would be a bad P.R. move.

This has been all over the papers here for over a week, And even if he did get arrested, the cops have said he doesn't need to remove the mask and reveal who he is

                          probably.

I look at it like they are being good samaritans helping other people out. Maybe a bit crazy. But no less crazy than someone helping stop a thief or breaking up a fight
Exactly. A Punisher-style vigilante would not go over well... he'd quickly become "Public Enemy # 1" in the eyes of the law. But these guys are just Neighborhood Watch with superhero costumes. Nothing wrong with that, especially since it makes it a bit harder for the perps to find out who thwarted them and retaliate.
