Is it just me or does that costume look like a cross between the Normal Spider-Man costume and the Scarlet Spider costume.

and the pattern in it hurts my eyes ... I don't like it at all...

It looks like they finally played around with the design more than just making the webs pop up. You can see a blue or black stripe on the now pointed gloves.... can't wait to see this thing in final form....

The Spider emblem's there......barely.

Honestly, I think they tried too hard to make it different from Raimi's suit, but ended up making it look like an imitation of it. Hopefully it'll look better on screen though. Honestly, I mostly am concerned for what the mask will look like. There's not many ways you could improve on Raimi's mask, which I think was perfect in every way, but we'll see....

They should have kept it closer to the original design. The costume pattern looks like one of those optical illusion things.

I like it with no belt. It almost reminds me of an idea I had around a Smallville type take on Spidey. The costume I drew had the red and webs stopping at the shoulders and making a point down about where the classic design would end and had pointed gloves and boots.

So long as the webs don't look like they were drawn by a ten year old I'm good with any redesigning. Just wish somebody with a brain would've had make a more comic like black suit in the last film....

the belt is there, partially. it doesnt connect on the front but you can see some red on his hip. i bet it shows on the back

wh would they, it would be way too expensive, and they have better ways to spend that money.

The webbing is there, its subdued and plays into the outline of the costume.
