That'd have to be a heck of a sex scandal to have any real effect on his ability to function as CEO. I mean serious, you-could-go-to-jail level stuff. He's not a politician, so he doesn't have to worry about getting elected. It would need to be something so shocking that a significant number of people would stop buying Apple products because of it if he was still CEO.

Just thinking out loud. 9 times out of 10, when someone mysteriously steps down from a high position, it's usually something sex-related. It wouldn't shock me if someone discovered he had a flash drive containing kiddie porn. Either way, Apple's stock dropped $6 due to this news. Buy people! BUY!
