When did this become popular? I've been a fan of Sentai for 21 years, actually saw it before I saw power rangers.

suddenly things I was made fun of liking now is popular here, and even on TGWTG and GG.

I see some people with avatars of Gokaiger, I'm assuming it's because of this show everyone is liking it, maybe cause of their PR nostalgia .

Though, I can't help being reminded how much I loved comics when I was in grade school, constantly harassed for liking them, my comics would get ripped or crushed in front of me because it "wasn't cool" or anything like that. Then those same people claim to be super comic fans since they were in grade school when I meet them again in College.


so tl;dr Why is sentai so popular now? Is it the hip thing?

Power Rangers is just stock footage of sentai with all the japanese actors replaced with terrible american actors

I would think one of reasons it'd be popular here is because of them being colored differently like the different lanterns? I don't know, I just work here.
