Like the reprints they package with toys and such. I found a Spiderman series that reprints his oldest adventures in an 8 page format with some using modern artists take on the classic covers at a yard sale for $5. In the back of them it says you could subscribe for 24 issues a year for like $14.99 or something. I also let him read any old back issues that are already in less than stellar condition [bent up covers, missing covers, just old books really...]

My Son Used the Potty!!!
I knew there was a greater reason for me being off work today. The last few weeks trying to potty train my son Sampson has been hectic. He brought his little seat into the bathroom with his own little mini comics we got him to "be like daddy." Yeah I know, I read comics in the crapper, wanna fight about it? Anyway... today I sat him on his seat in the bathroom and ran to the living room to get him a new book to read. When I got back there was pee in the floor... and in the potty itself! I'm so proud I got him to use it. Not his mother, not his mimi or pop pop, me.
I really can't describe how excited I am over this. This made my week.
