I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

I taped the pilot, but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.Originally posted by Lantern A-train View PostAnyone watching The Strain?
Suits- My DVR cut off the last 5 minutes so I didn't get to see if Harvey ripped Litt a new one. I wonder if Louis will go through with the forgery after getting chewed out... and I wonder if Mike and Rachel will ever work things out. Rachel should have kept her mouth shut about the kiss.

Yo.
its been interesting; its liberal with the language, and the sfx has been pretty decent. the story is ok, altho "the strain" itself comes off as more a certain type of classic movie monster, than the pure, odd biological threat Id have thought we'd be seeing......Originally posted by Lantern A-train View PostAnyone watching The Strain?

The Last Ship- There's no way they pull a stunt like that without taking more casualties. The Captain should have never left the ship in the first place.
Falling Skies- They seemed to waste a ton of time saving Maggie. It was like 3/4 of the episode... or it seemed that way. They could have used all of that time to show us the new harness process for the adults or develop the Hornets' race.

I thought Dingaan was gonna bite it for sure this week. Shows how much I know... anyway, I'll agree that more time should've been spent on the new harnessing process and the hornets, but something tells me they might elaborate on that stuff yet, or maybe next season? I'm not really sure... A lot of time was spent on Maggie, perhaps unnecessarily, but I enjoyed the character moments, and they're finally giving Denny something to do, which is nice for however long it lasts.
Next week looks INSANE, though. Time for a wedding, survivors running around in riot gear a la The Walking Dead... I'm excited.

Yeah, I thought they were going to off Dingan as well. Between his panic attacks and him rambling, I was sure a wall would fall on him.Originally posted by fearless2814.1 View PostI thought Dingaan was gonna bite it for sure this week. At this point, I don't think they'll bother with developing the Hornets. Hell, they really never developed the Volm, the Skitters or the Mechs. It's just aliens showing up without rhyme or reason and blowing stuff up. In passing, they'll give us a piece of a backstory that may satisfy our appetites, but that's about all... and I really doubt they're going to develop the Overlords, where they came from, what their powers are and how they can turn coal into a astral projection device.

I guess all that matters is they flesh out this whole "big bad" thing brewing in space or whatever, the thing that chased the Skitters off their world or whatever...

Suits- Louis Litt UNLEASHED!!! I missed the last couple of minutes because my damn DVR cut off too soon. I'll have to remember to catch the replay on Saturday. If I had to venture a guess, I'd say that Litt blackmails Jessica into hiring him back AND making him a managing partner with his name on the wall, otherwise he'll threaten to turn everyone in for hiring a fraud in Mike Ross.
Satisfaction- This show is just... strange.

I watched the first episode of Satisfaction and I thought it was pretty interesting and not what I expected from the previews. You just witnessed the strength of geek knowledge. N.W.A., Nerd With Attitude. Straight out of Vulcan!

Girl Meets World- Corey and Topanga look exactly the same, well, except Corey's hairline is receeding a bit. Topanga is still cute.
Suits- Finally saw the ending, and my prediction was spot on. Pearson... Specter... Litt...
Wild N' Out- I've never heard of Riff Raff, aside from the old Top Cat character.
Extant- I missed too many episodes, but I'm gathering Molly's baby isn't really alive, and that she's being strung along.
VMA awards- Beyonce's performance at the end of the show was great, but the rest of the stuff in between was crap, well, aside from Ariana Grande. I've never heard of most of those artists.

5 minutes ago, I just wrapped up 9 seasons and 2 movies of The X-Files. It was so good to watch everything all over again since it's been almost 20 years for me. And I have a new appreciation for Agents Doggett and Rayes.
So, now I'm in that slump of "what do I watch next?" because I feel like I just lost a friend. There is something undeniable about Mulder and Scully's relationship- I don't think any TV show has quite captured the specific essence of what makes them tick, either before or after. And what they have is such a beautiful thing. Throughout some of the toughest/weirdest/most heart breaking situations a human can endure, they still stand by one another. That says a lot to me.
