Episode 3 of The Newsroom was okay.

Yeah. The third episode didn't seem to match the previews, as I thought Olivia Munn's character was going to do something that got her ass in trouble.

Falling Skies- I was a bit disappointed in the fact that the Skitters are trying to align a truce with the resistance. It's too "5th Column-esque"... and Seychelle Gabriel is too gorgeous to not have more dialogue.

What's 5th Column? I'm intrigued by the idea, that some Skitters can overcome their programming. I thought it was kind of a waste to bring that Rick kid back only to kill him off, but that's what happens when you're friends with the middle Mason child. He's already racked-up two bodies that were his "friends"...

And yeah, Seychelle needs more scenes. And more talking. And more everything.

And also, did Tom just get laid?

I think Tom did get some nice, Moon action... and it's about damn time!

Seychelle just stands around and gazes with a half-smile in most of her scenes. They'll show her standing there, tending to medical supplies and she'll turn her head and watch someone else speak. She's far too attractive for that.

The 5th Column is from the original "V" miniseres. It was a concealed faction of aliens that didn't agree with the orders they were given so they've been secretly aiding the humans. That's kind of the direction they seem to be taking with this show.

Ah... I never watched V, but now that you mention it I think I recall hearing about it before. True, the idea is similar, but I like to think of Falling Skies as it's own entity. But, then again, as I said I never watched V, so others could be feeling the same way.

I honestly thought Seychelle would at least make one of the lead supporting characters, but it appears they aren't even content to give her that. She shows up about as often as Pope, and even he seemed to get more facetime than she did. She chews a lot of scenery...

And hellz yea it's about time Tom got some! ...Come to think of it, that wife that he was burning a torch for, did we ever even learn her name? I can't seem to remember... Anyway, when you're single-handedly keeping the morale of an entire unit's worth of people up, you deserve to get some before the aliens get ya.

I saw this and Falling Skies(I can't wait for next week's ep.) last night. I thought TWD S3 Comic-Con trailer was good. They're taking liberties with the Prison storyarc and that's fine because I don't have to worry about this show being predictable. Michonne looks like she stepped right out of the comic. The Gov. looks different from the comic books probably to look more sympathetic on the outside but on the inside he's really an evil, sick, and crazy man. Lastly, we finally see Merle again.

TWD has quickly become that show that I'm excited for...I just cannot wait for this next season. I can't wait to see the conflict that is bound to arise from Daryl's character progression and whatever is that Merle's become since we last seen him handcuffed to die on the roof.
