It just occurred to me to wonder...if Gotham is so firmly in the pocket of organized crime that the police don't even try to hide the fact amongst themselves (at least not where Gordon works, anyway) how is it that the guys from the Major Crimes Unit seem so gung ho to fight corruption? Why aren't THEY getting leaned on to play along? It seems like almost everybody from the mayor on down is dirty, so why are MCU cops somehow allowed to be so concerned with ferreting out corruption and fighting organized crime?

Gotham - There's still something aout Jada's performance that seems off to me. I feel like she is overacting a bit. The whole lesbian past sub-plot of Barbara and Montoya comes off rather forced and ham-fisted to me. I am warming up to Bruce a bit but I'm not too fond of Alfred.

Yeah, Jada's performance is something out of a 1940s gangsters film. At other moments she's like giving a poor imitation of Eartha Kitt's Catwoman; she just needs to saw meow and it will nearly be a Earth Kitt performance.

I'd be happy with some Barbara and Montoya hand fisting.

And yes, Alfred doesn't have an endearing personality. Typically, Alfred has been a calming and naturing figure in Bruce's life. The Gotham version of Alfred comes off like an a-hole. Perhaps it is because Bruce is still a child and Alfred doesn't know how to deal with him, but it's not something I'm use to.

No the wallet was from someone that she robbed prior to getting into the alley. She ditched the wallet down the sewer which proved that she was actually there. She claims that she saw the face of the guy that killed the Waynes before he covered his face up. I still don't completely believe she saw it even though she claims she can see in the dark.

This. I don't why the show would drag this out. If she knows she should tell Gordon. It makes little sense as Selina doesn't really need that information to leverage Gordon into doing something.

The show not great, but I'll be watching the entire season to see where it goes like I did with Agents of SHIELD.

I've missed the first 10 minutes of each show, so maybe I missed something, but it seemed that Selina was stringing Gordon along until she led him to the supposed wallet that she somehow obtained from the Wayne's killer.

I didn't even bother watching Gotham last night. Selina ACTUALLY knows who killed the Waynes? I thought she was just playing Gordon. If I recall the scene correctly, she shouldn't have seen any more than Bruce did of the masked attacker.

Gotham- I don't like this angle of Selina knowing who killed the Wayne's... and this new, shoe-horned lesbian backstory with Barbara is just stupid and pointless. Also, it seems like Fish doesn't even really belong on this show.

So far, I'm not really into this show, but I keep watching in anticipation of something great happening. So far, I am not impressed.

I see your point of view and won't argue that Gotham is a violent city with violent and corrupt characters. However, I feel that's how Gotham would be pre-Batman. Moreover, the dark and violent tones have been the trend of DC features; from animated films, tv shows and live action movies.

I'm giving Gotham one last chance to hook me. As of now it is just too violent and disturbing for my tastes, with every "heroic victory" being very limited in scope and overpowered by the grimness of the setting.

I'm not saying that's inappropriate for the given subject matter, just that it is a bit too disturbing and dark for my personal tastes. I hate too many of the characters, and even though they are villains, and I'm therefore not SUPPOSED to like them, they get too much screen time for me to want to put up with watching them that often.

I'm hoping that The Flash gives me something a bit lighter and more traditionally superheroic in tone. Still enjoying Agents of SHIELD. Even if things are a bit darker this season, there are still plenty of good characters to root for, and the tone is not as unrelentingly grim as Gotham.

Something like that... I don't know why the writers have Rosa acting like a lesbian.

Simpsons Guy- This episode was great, but I only got through half of it. Peter and Homer at the gas station was hilarious!

Gotham- I only caught half of it, so I'll have to rewatch later on.

Total Divas- Nattie should have kissed Rosa. That would have made all the male viewers happy.

Resurrection- It's like they started a new show. All the things that were in the finale were written off. I hope they explain some things later down the road.

Total Divas- I'm surprised that they are including feminine issues in this show as opposed to your run-of-the-mill drama. Nattie should have kissed Rosa. That would have made all the male viewers happy.
