If I ask myself which of them gave me the most enjoyment from their Batman portrayal, I'd have to say West, since I watched the heck out that show when I was a kid, and thought it was a lot of fun. But that's not really a fair comparison, that gives him the advantage mainly on total hours of enjoyment.
If I ask myself who I thought did the best job portraying Batman, it becomes a bit tougher. I guess Bale's Batman was more like I envision Batman being these days.
If I ask myself which is my favorite actor, who happened to play Batman (meaning rating the actor independent of the role), I've no earthly idea. Probably Keaton, I guess. I'm more partial to comedy.

I chose Keaton, but if I was making a new batman film, and I was only allowed to use those actors up there as the new batman, it would be Kilmer. Bale was ok in begins, got to old and bloated in DK, but was just right in DKR seeing he was supposed to start ageing. Kilmer was an great batman, but his film sort of ruins his performance for him. Maybe if he was in the first two films, he'd be top dog. Keaton was perfect, dark, a bit geeky while Bruce, classy, and had batmans voice just right, Kilmers voice as the bat was simular. Cloony was a joke, there was only what, 4 years at most between forver and B&R, and he went from having brown hair to a full head of grey hair, he was cheezy, nothing like batman or Bruce Wayne the character, ugly, and his film in general was bad. The only thing keeping me going through that film was Uma's knockers. At least West was funny.Originally posted by Mister Ed View PostIf I ask myself which of them gave me the most enjoyment from their Batman portrayal, I'd have to say West, since I watched the heck out that show when I was a kid, and thought it was a lot of fun.
