Both are good examples of his range. He did a lot through a lot of makeup in the former and played one sick puppy in the latter. I know him from too many things to equate him with just one role. He was quite prolific. He won a BAFTA and Golden Globe (with an Oscar nod) for his supporting role in Midnight Express. I'll try to watch one of his tomorrow.
