I loved Landau in a lot of things, but my favorite movie with him has always been The Majestic with Jim Carey. Such a great, underappreciated movie, direcred by the amazing Frank Darabont.

At least Landau was 89, which is a good run. I wish we had Romero for as long. Hell, I have a picture of me and him hanging on my livingroom wall, lol.

Yeah it's a good film, nice tribute to the old cinema as well.

Romero's death stings even more considering he was just about to get to work on another dead film. Good or bad, that's just ugh.

I did a high school project in music class on Linkin Park, back when their first album had just come out. Around that time, on a trip to the Baltimore Aquarium, my then-girlfriend's brother let me listen to the Meteora album on his portable CD player and headset.

It truly sucks that Chester's gone. The band had some great hits, and a very entrancing style in their videos. I hate that I keep ending up listening to/watching more of someone I like after they've died.

I never cared for LP, they seemed like a pop band with distortion that the record label put together like a corporate boy band. But that is truly sad that he felt he had to end his own life. Such a shame, especially for his family and friends.

Bullwinkle may have been the greatest animated series ever. Nothing of its nature could be produced today, because the cultural ethos is so different. This is what cartoons should be like -- entertaining and safe for kids but witty enough for adults to enjoy.
