I mean Gibson is still an actor, it's not like he was Schwarzenegger or something, his biggest hit just happen to be an action buddy comedy. That version of Hamlet simply had a smaller release in 1990, and actually got good reviews, but nobody seems to talk about it these days.

He's one of the better directors when it comes to Shakespeare adaptations. His version of The Taming of The Shrew with Taylor & Burton is an absolute delight.

Yeah, I haven't seen that since I was in high school (which is over 20 years now), but I would've watched that if I had it since Birton is one of my favorite actors.

He's good in it, I think he was even sober on the set. It's the last really good movie Taylor made too, the quality of her films went downhill fast after the second Oscar.

In fact, the more I talk about it, the more I probably wanna rewatch it. Brother Sun, Sister Moon is really good too.

Actor Max Wright has passed away after a battle with cancer. He was 75.

A popular character actor during the 1980s and 1990s, Wright is best known as father Willie Tanner on “ALF”, in which he clashed with the smart-mouthed alien living with his family throughout the sitcom’s run from 1986 to 1990.

                  • Given his substance abuse problems, I'm amazed Wright stuck around as long as he did.

A true genius of the industry. Directly responsible for the production of the Mustang, the k car, and the minivan. And with a movie coming out about him (and Shelby) this summer. His impact on the automotive industry and keeping Ford a top contender can't be underestimated. R.I.P.
