When I met him and got a couple autographs, he was fresh off Devil's Rejects and pretty spry. He struck me as a straight shooter. I remember in their panel, he and Bill Mosley were just chatting about modern horror and Haig outright called out the then-popular Haute Tension as a cheat. It was unusual to hear an actor bad mouth another movie. He also signed my Captain Spaulding photo with "f**k you!" He wasn't mad at me or anything, that's the line he says at the moment in the photo (killing the shoplifter). In retrospect, I should've asked for another line since it makes me leery to display that one.
