    Annie Glenn, the widow of astronaut and U.S. Sen. John Glenn and a communication disorders advocate, died Tuesday at age 100.

    Glenn died of COVID-19 complications at a nursing home near St. Paul, Minnesota, said Hank Wilson, a spokesman for the Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University.

      A former White House employee who worked with 11 presidents ― from Dwight Eisenhower to Barack Obama ― died over the weekend after contracting the coronavirus. He was 91.

      Wilson Roosevelt Jerman, who appeared alongside the Obamas in a photograph published in former first lady Michelle Obama’s bestselling memoir “Becoming,” retired in 2012 following 55 years of service.

        Hana Kimura, a Japanese professional wrestler who was also a cast member on the most recent season of Netflix’s reality show “Terrace House,” has died, Variety has confirmed. She was 22.

        Stardom Wrestling, the organization Kimura was part of, issued a statement on the news on Friday.

          Veteran character actor Richard Herd, best known for portraying Mr. Wilhelm on “Seinfeld,” died on Tuesday at his Los Angeles home of complications from cancer. He was 87.

          The Boston native broke into show business as a stage actor in New York. He made his film debut in 1970’s “Hercules in New York.” Herd was hired as Richard Long’s replacement for the part of Watergate burglar James McCord in Alan J. Pakula’s “All the President’s Men.”

            Larry Kramer, the writer and influential gay activist who pressed the U.S. government and the medical establishment to respond to the AIDS epidemic, has died. He was 84.

            Kramer died Wednesday from pneumonia, his husband David Webster told the New York Times.

              Retired Congressman Sam Johnson, a conservative stalwart whose service to country spanned seven years as a prisoner of war and a long stint in the House, died Wednesday in Plano of natural causes. He was 89.

              The Plano Republican packed multiple careers into a life defined by endurance, patriotism and sacrifice.

                Marge Redmond, who played Sister Jacqueline on TV’s The Flying Nun and later became known as the spokeswoman in Cool Whip commercials, has died. She was 95 and her death was announced by SAG-AFTRA in its magazine. No cause was given.

                Redmond appeared in 80 episodes of The Flying Nun, which ran from 1967-70 and starred Sally Field. She served as the show’s narrator in addition to her acting, and received an Emmy nomination after season two.

                    Lennie Niehaus, the West Coast alto saxophonist, arranger and composer who played with Stan Kenton's band and collaborated with Clint Eastwood on more than two dozen films, has died. He was 90.

                    Niehaus died Thursday at his daughter's home in Redlands, California, under hospice care, his family announced.

                        Big Ten Network and the University of Wisconsin announced this weekend that Rob Andringa, a longtime analyst and former college star, has died at the age of 51.

                        “Rob Andringa, a longtime BTN hockey analyst and Wisconsin hockey standout, passed away Friday,” the Big Ten Network announced. “We express our condolences to his family and the University of Wisconsin community.”

                          Around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, police found 77-year-old David Dorn shot dead outside of Lee's Pawn and Jewelry store in the 4100 block of Martin Luther King Dr.

                            Robert Kulick, a guitarist and record producer who performed with the metal band W.A.S.P. and in the studio with rock legends KISS, has died. He was 70.

                            His death was announced by his brother Bruce Kulick, longtime guitarist for KISS, via social media.

                            “I am heartbroken to have to share the news of the passing of my brother Bob Kulick. His love of music, and his talent as a musician and producer should always be celebrated. I know he is at peace now, with my parents, playing his guitar as loud as possible. Please respect the Kulick Family’s privacy during this very sad time,” Bruce Kulick wrote in a post on Facebook.
