I skim RAW. I watch Smackdown, but that's because the Fox app only makes me watch three quick commercials and it's easy to watch in the background.
I haven't watched a full raw show in like 7 years. I only watch highlights.

    • I went back and watched Flair's match with Jay Lethal in 2010. He looked surprisingly good, but that was 12 years ago and he's almost died since then. He seems sluggish in his podcasts. Even if he doesn't get hurt, I don't think he can sell anything. BTW, Hogan seemed older than Flair did in 2010.

      • The WWE would like to wish the McMahon family the best in its future endeavors.

        • Vince threw Stephanie, Shane and Triple H under the bus. Now Vince, John Laurinaitis and Kevin Dunn are getting thrown under, and Stephanie is in charge of the company. And Linda has reportedly left Vince. This looks bad for Vince. What an old fool, hitting on female employees at his age.

          • Steph was on leave when this hit and then comes back to take the reigns. Bizarre. Seems like she knew something was coming.

              • If there's still a lot of ties to the regime, we probably can't expect sweeping changes, but I'd still prefer something more like what HHH was doing with NXT than the stuff Vince had the strongest hold on.

Vince has supposedly planted some stories in the media that she was demoted because of her "performance." But anyway she's on the board of directors and would have known about the investigation.

I'm sure the product would improve with Stephanie and Triple H running the company.

Kevin Dunn supposedly sold a lot of WWE stock before the story broke and is being accused of insider trading.

I felt a twinge when Vince took the company public because shady characters like him don't benefit from scrutiny. I'm sure he saw the sale of stock as free money coming in for him, which of course it was, but you can see what it's led to. Probably the smartest thing Donald Trump has ever done is to keep the Trump Organization private.

                  • ^I DVRed the series Dark Side of the Ring from my parents' TV and I remember my mother hearing the bit on the Snuka episode about how allegedly Vince had a private meeting with the local PD in that case and how it mysteriously got dropped as a murder case and her comment was "he's like an old-school gangster." Yep, kind of.

                    • He's stunningly rapacious, and his appetites have not diminished with age. But that's exactly why he's worth $2.3 billion.

In an economics class I took, the instructor was discussing the concept of diminishing marginal utility. The example he gave was of ice cream cones. The first one you eat has a certain value to you, and each additional one has less value. He said that the exception to this phenomenon is capitalists and dollars. For them there is never any point where the value of additional money decreases. The two billionth dollar they make is just as valuable to them as the first one.

I've noticed that it's not just money they crave. They tend to continue chasing women into their dotage too.

                            • I thought it had to happen, but it's still shocking that it actually has. I suspect that more women have come forward with complaints.

Looks like Stephanie will outrank Nick Khan, which is good. And Triple H is replacing John Laurinaitis.
