The first episode is available for free downloand on iTunes and the one hour premier is this weekend. Has anyone watched it yet? I checked it out last night and I am somewhat onboard. There were some cheesy lines even by comic book standards. I like th animation this far especially the design of Hawkeye. Some moments did come off a bit too buddy cop like. All in all I enjoyed it and will check out the next episodes
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

It debuts this Sunday on the Disney XD channel. I don't even know if I have that channel in my programming. If I have the channel, I'll make an effort to record it. If not, ah well...

I didn't think the episodes were great or having Tony Stark leader of the Avengers a good thing either, but it does fill a void left by Green Lantern and Young Justice.

I watched the first two eppys this afternoon. Here's my take:

            Negatives:

Thor looks too young and skinny.

            Hulk looks too human.

            Way too much Hawkeye.

The pace was really frantic. I hope this was just a way of hooking newer viewers and not how the plotting will be every week.

            Positives:

The battles were loud and brutal. The show doesn't appear to be in the same campy spirit of Ultimate Spider-man.

Hulk and Thor are frenemies, and Thor is shown as at least being able to stand up to Hulk without getting instantly obliterated.

Cap, Falcon, Iron Man, and Black Widow are very well designed.

It appears that we'll get long arcs, not just self-contained episodes.

agreed. the eps werent BAD, but they werent great either, and this seems WAYYYYYYYYYY more Iron Man-centric than even Avengers (the movie) was.

it was interesting to see them blend some of the 616, Ultimate & movie concepts here, but overall I wasnt bowled over by the finished product.

I agree w/those things bolded & underlined, however this looks like it'll be working on the self-contained/single eps story structure, rather than the multi-eps stroy development we got from the previous series. thats not a bad thing, as they'll just be able to tell more stories while still having a general sense of plot development (I just hope the BIGGIE isnt the formation of the Masters of Evil........)

Falcon somehow reminds me of Ultimate Spiderman ..and yes..!! still it's better than no superhero animations!

Falcon was younger than I expected his character to be. I thought Falcon would be a seasoned as Hawkeye and Black Widow.

Dish Networks doesn't have this channel in its basic programming package. Poppycock and balderdash, I say!

Na, I don't think you can really beat the old 90s ones like Spider-Man: TAS, Batman: TAS, or X-Men: TAS. I think the best modern ones are The Batman and Fantastic Four: Worlds greatest Heroes. Probably as good as the 90s series'. Then again, I'm out of the loop anyway. I don't really do kids animation. The last thing I saw was Batman: Brave and The Bold which was just so corny.

Especially when I heard GL was CGI anyway and I don't get CN and shit like that anyway that I jut decided to give up with it all.

Now the only thing that would even get me to consider watching an animated series (apart from the adult swim ones like Family Guy and American Dad!) would be either a Punisher or Daredevil series aimed at adults. Might look into the adult Spawn series one day though, dark adult things are what interest me.
