No WAY was Wayne Manor that cheap, even in 1939. Even the AVERAGE house cost well over that back then. (My research shows almost $7,000.) I'm sure Wayne Manor HAS to be WELL above average.

In fact, I'd wager that the average car cost more than is stated for the Batmobile, too, but not by much.

True. I was making a joke based on the amount of crime, perpetrated by extremely SCARY criminals, that takes place in and around Gotham. Realistically, you would need something approaching Zombie plague levels to drive the price of a place like Wayne Manor down to less than half a million, as that picture is stating.
