Yes, but you can also upload your own stuff. Pics, text, music, video, whatever. I find it to be a very creative outlet. Generally speaking, when I jump on the net at night, I have two tabs open on firefox-one for here, one for tumblr.
I thought about opening a Tumblr account for my blog convention coverage. How is Tumblr working for you guys? For the platforms I use (blogger, wordpress, livejournal), I've experienced a great many issues ranging from slowness to images vanishing and the system continually crashing.
Ive had a Tumblr acct for about 1/2 to 3/4 of a year now, and its been pretty easy; never had any problem w/pic missing, but I generally dont upload much of my own............

It's my go-to for everything. It's facebook for REAL people. It's favorite pics. It's all my interests rolled into one sweet page. Doom, guitars, tractors, star wars, transformers, written word, my music, my videos....it's one stop shopping for anyone who is curious about me.

Well you better find something to upload! ORIGINALITY, PEOPLE! I mean, you could write a short novel called "The adventures of Ionfan" and put some cool tags on it. Next thing you know, you got a hundred followers who are actually interested in your shit.
never said I didnt, just that I dont NORMALLY; if its not a reblog from 1 of the others I follow, its post from something Ive seen on FB, twitter or elsewhere.
I do tend to repost the tech newsie -stuff tho, cuz me likey dat stuff.......

So, it's like Myspace without the teenybopper crap.
not as such, but since Yahoo swallowed'em AND THEN put all of the 18+ blogs in its own "separate but equal" dimension, U might see more of that type since its now "safe" for them. *shrug*
