I'm hoping he does read the note to the class, and it turns out to be something that was part of Bruce's plan. That would redeem what, on the face of it, seems like kind of a clueless move, asking Barry's help with winning the bet.
Dude, Bruce mocked him AND Hal about looking for Bigfoot. I'd think that'd be enough for Barry to, logically, not be rooting for Bruce to win, since that aspect is part of the bet as well. Ah well, perhaps it has been too long since I was that young, and I just don't get the standard grade-school bet ethics.

And Flash didn't seem to care. Barry doesn't come off as someone who cares if you mock him or not, he probably had already forgotten about it by the time they got back in school.
Now, if Barry had asked Hal to do it, I'd agree with you. Their personalities clash and both have the huge egos. And they're the ones who bet each other.
I'm curious now as to whether, in their world, Bigfoot IS real. It seems like, if it is, Hal and Barry WOULD be well equipped to find it. As it stands, if there IS no Bigfoot, Bruce really can't lose the bet, even if he doesn't manage to win.

Well, there is Shaggyman I'd imagine. He's basically like Bigfoot isn't he?

I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.
