So you've seen the picture he's objecting to? I was assuming, since he made a point of objecting to it, that it was something that was clearly beyond a kiss of greeting. Obviously, if you are correct and it is just an Italian cultural thing, then he's being silly.

However, the internet being what it is, I don't for a second doubt that there are pictures of Mario and Luigi kissing each other that ARE intended to be incestuous. I guess it does also still seem a bit silly to ask the people making those to stop, since there is no way in hell such a request will ever be honored.

No. His reference is incredibly broad, and while he probably is referring to a kiss that's more than friendly, I find his wording to be poor and am making light of it. If someone wants to draw Mario and Luigi having hardcore incest, that's on them, and if they want to draw something more innocent, that's also on them.
