I kind of get it, but I mostly don't. I know a bit of who Eisner was, The Spirit creator and so on, but I don't see how the comic portion ties into the biting criticism of the tweet.

Well in the original the third panel has a bolt of lightning as if God was responding:



Anyways the point of that picture is to mock Diaz not disparage Eisner. Diaz if you're not familiar with him is the creator of the webcomic Dresden Codak and is a dink. He likes the position himself as some sort feminist but really just draws half naked fetishistic female characters and says stupid shit like this:



Anyways he tweeted that out the other day and after people were done laughing at him they decided to let him know that associating white privilege with a poverty stricken jewish guy in the 1940s was fucking idiotic and he locked down his twitter. But he's back now and has offered some sort of half assed apology, though he appears to be taking a shot at Kirby now so who knows, maybe he's just an anti-semite:



But yea, I'm not gunna lie, I enjoyed typing Aaron Diaz into the search on twitter this morning and reading all the hot takes.

I think I'll enjoy Eisner's original take better. Diaz is clearly just some douchebag looking down his nose at people who aren't as cultivated in their social progression as he is.
