That's so insulting to Frankenstein's Monster and his Bride
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.
Yes, yes it is. Though in this case, I have the echo the kid's question to any Grandpa that is reading those particular books to a kid that age.
You think so? I don't know that I would read him that, but relatively speaking it's not super violent (the few deaths shown aren't graphic), the language is mild, and the main couple never do (or discuss) more than kissing. It's not exactly like reading him Sons and Lovers or Godfather. If someone told me they read a kid about that age that story I wouldn't exactly write him off as an idiot.

Wait, are you talking about The Princess Bride? I was talking about the Song of Fire and Ice books by George R. R. Martin, as mentioned in the above image. I don't have a problem with the Grandpa reading him The Princess Bride. But if he's reading him A Game of Thrones at that age, I'm raising my eyebrows...

Interesting you made that comment, cause I was talking to a co-worker today about how much more tame the books are compared to the show.

Yep, my mistake. For some reason, I thought you were referring to the original context.
