A sterling example from my state. Some teen girls were beating on another when a substitute intervened, so they beat her. When the parents went to them in holding, they broke into a fist fight and were promptly arrested too.

I'll post one more of these and then let you guys find more for yourself if you're interested. There's no end to them on YouTube. A common theme is that someone gets stopped for a minor infraction, then crazily escalates it into one or more serious charges.

This one involves a couple of "sovereign citizens."

It was bad enough that she didn't tell them about the gun. But then she clamped down on it and refused to let go,. She's lucky they didn't shoot her..

Then as soon as they took her down she yelled, "I can't breathe!"

Thing is, there are an awful lot of beers out there, and although I'm not much of a beer drinker, a lot of them don't taste all that different to me. Especially the lite beers. So it's easy for them to chase away their customers.

This just wasn't smart. There might be a few industries that could help themselves by embracing tranvestites, but brewers aren't one of them. Beer drinkers just won't react well to a brewer's efforts to "improve" their worldview. That A-B didn't know their customers any better than that is stunning.

And I'm sure that Alissa Heinerscheid had no market research in hand that indicated Dylan Mulvaney would appeal to women and young people. She did this because she wanted to. It was about her.

Half of the people boycotting Anheuser don't even know half the brands that it owns or produces. They will be just fine once the redneck idiots settle down in a week or 2 and find the next thing to be pissed about. Its not like the company hasnt been supporting the same cause for about 20 years or more. Most of this fake outrage is just a show for the 15 minutes of internet fame.

The scale and ferocity of the reaction has shocked a lot of people, but this is really just the straw that broke the camel's back. And this is a BEER BREWER, for God's sake. That's the very last kind of company that should launch such a campaign. I've read many of the online comments and am surprised that so many women are upset about it. But I probably should have realized that a lot of women aren't thrilled to see a man parade around disguised as a woman and being depicted as a hero.

Nobody should hate the guy, but that behavior should go on in private.

^I heard that too, though the number sounds hard to believe. This seems unfixable now in terms of sale. If they just ignore it and don't use the person again, it'll take too long for people to realize. If they apologize, they'll get major backlash from the other side. If they double down on the policy, well . . .

I saw that Anheuser-Busch may have lost $7 billion in market cap already because of this.

We're seeing the birth of a social phenomenon where the power of the internet is being harnessed to severely punish woke companies. The people who they've kicked to the curb are in no mood to show them any mercy.

Companies need to stay out of politics just as rigorously as they stay out of religion. There's no future in signaling your virtue by chasing away half your potential market. Fuck your virtue. Just make and sell your product please.

The first rule of business is, don't chase your customers away. The second rule is, everybody is not your customer.

I bet this person has never even tasted Budweiser.

(BTW, the comics industry could learn something from this debacle.)

I'm wondering whether the copulatory tie occurred, but I'm not curious enough to look for the video.
