The issue is not the wage . The issue is the cost of living. Fix the cost of living people will be able to afford a apartment. Some one bedroom apartments fetch 1,200 monthly just in the city of Chicago. Im in the burbs so the apartments across from me go for a grand a month.

The two issues are related (as are most financial issues).
Sigh aside from wanting to commit first degree murder on the cunt next door aka the druggy whos screaming at 11pm yesterday our lovey govenor extended the no eviction till sep 1 now. Im at witts end with this surgery 3 weeks away. Thats my outrage of the week. Its been so bad the neighbor below them has been staying at a hotel. I blame the cancel rent culture that camped out in dc. Im telling you your going to see a rise in outlaw vigilante justice. People wont take it nor Should they
You realize that the eviction moratorium only applies to evictions for failure to pay rent, right? Landlords are as free as ever (which is to say, not THAT free, since I understand eviction is a legal mess under the best of circumstances) to give people the boot for other legal reasons, some of which sound like they would apply to your objectionable neighbors.

Not in Illinois apparently. My landord even asked a lawyer. Apparently from what i understand is they can file wich they did in june the original end date was July but state troopers cant do anything till September 1 in terms of removing them. They have a squater living with them. If i Could legally post what i took photos and video of i Would but knowing my luck ill violate some law

Did they ask a lawyer recently? Because my research shows that the extended ban (which included even evictions for reasons beyond failure to pay) was rescinded as of June 25th. (And even when it was in force, it still allowed evictions for people that posed "a direct threat to the health and safety of other tenants or an immediate and severe risk to property".)
Obviously I'm not a lawyer, so if they have checked with a lawyer since June 25th, then there must be some other factor I'm unaware of. If they haven't, though, it might be worth investigating.

Yes he asked late june. My landord is a really good guy so i hate seeing him get screwed . Im no lawyer either i just hear what im told. I found out today another neighbor who gets incilin had it stolen and ironically the squater next to me leavs a note for fed ex. All my neighbors are 50 and above one of the youngest being me at 36 the 2 i hate with a passion are 33 and 42. I was begin the landords mom to give me the ok to kick in door and drag her the 42 year old out in cuffs. I haven't hated a person or persons this bad since middle school. And when i say hate i mean i Wouldn't give 2 shits if they od got caught in a fire or die in a plane crash. If they were on the street lying bleeding i would kick them wile there down. Thats how much i loathe them. Ontop of that we are also next to a middle school. Youd be amazed at all the heroin and cocaine is slung around here
