Watched Uncle Sam and Independence Day. Hope to squeeze in Jaws too.

Worked today. Woke up two hours early, couldn't even remember what day of the week it was (no, I haven't been drinking).

The big delivery still came today, the Monday driver pulling duty so I saw him again. I put away half the order and a couple cooks put away the rest because the one needed to do inventory for Monday's big order next week. I managed to get pretty caught up before leaving, knocking out almost all the sheet trays, so tomorrow should be okay when I do the ovens.

When I was running some orders down, I saw parts of The Sandlot, but missed the main part of the carnival scene where they vomit on everyone (I'll look it up on YouTube later tonight), and some of Zootopia (still need to buy that and watch it for the first time).

I got to my car right before the storm hit, brief but heavy showers. I dunno that I'll be able to play my game tonight and make any progress, so I'll probably grab some refreshments and see if I can watch Target Earth (1954) on YouTube, recommended by a friend of mine.

Happy 4th! On Sunday I went to Martha's Vineyard with my best friend whose wife's family has lived there for a few generations. His mother in law spent the entire day driving us around the island and it's towns, showing us the filming locations for the movie Jaws. We had a fantastic time, I took a bigger boatload of selfies in those spots and made an entire day of it. The whole day including ferry rides was almost 14 hours. She was SUCH a nice lady and took her whole day to entertain us which was SUPER cool. Her family had parts in the movie, some extras some much more than that.

BTW, in making of documentaries when they describe the guy who played Ben Gardner as being a local eccentric, they are being kind. Apparently the guy was a nutjob who caused a lot of problems on the island. He brought a few skunks to the island and set them free, which has led to an enormous skunk population. He is not fondly remembered lol.

No wonder Ben Gardner's boat got all chewed up.
