Looks like they changed the animation quite a bit. Asaji Ventress looks a little more square and the tone of the trailer is much darker.

As for Anakin's padawan Ahsoka Tano turing to the darkside? I think it will happen. I remember a few years ago watching some sort of interview with the Star Wars producers and they were saying that Ahsoka would have a great impact on Anakin and his path towards the Darkside. This being Star Wars however, I also believe Ahsoka will probably redeem herself before she meets her demise.

The "Secrets Revealed" story arc has cool and also lame at the sametime. It's cool to see more evidence as to why Anakin would be "The Chosen One," but the Brother and Sister sides of The Force feels kind of cheesy.

The Force brother and sister element is stupid... and they really didn't explain anything about how they came into existence.

Another pointless part of the story was the brother turning into that creature just to bite and infect Ahsoka with dark venom or whatever that was. She was already captured. They could have used that time for something else.

I think the part of the brother morphing into another creature was to lower Ahsoka's guard and extract information on "The Chosen One." Anyway, I agree that scene could have been done away with.

I take the brother and sister things as metaphors and entities of The Force much like the entities of in the Green Lantern comic books.

I just looking forward to seeing Darth Maul again.

This past (animated) trilogy, I really enjoyed. I heard from someone that there was a leaked outline for what was supposed to be Episodes VII-IX, in short the plot was supposedly about Luke and the gang discovering the source to the dark side is a force based planet! So they head off to destrot it. Don't know much else.

STILL haven't seen the animated movie that set this story in motion!

...What Lucas should have done was a CG Eps 7-8-9 with the original cast. You'd have people lining up around the block right now to see that. And I would be one of them.

I've always thought that since they're doing a cgi prequel series, wouldn't it be cool to see a traditionally animated Star Wars series set during the time of the original trilogy? I would think a series set in between films would be really cool, but post-ROTJ sounds cool too. I think the only problem with that would be that there have been so many post-ROTJ stories published that people already have pre-conceived notions of what's supposed to happen that no matter what G. Lucas would come up with, there would be more people groaning than cheering. Look at the prequel films, LOL.

Oh please. You need a better reason to insult Episode I and the other prequels than scientific reasoning for the Force. That's like trying to say everyone should believe Dinosaur bones were put in the Earth to test our faith in God and give us Fossil Fuels.

Why can't there be both? Some people believe in the faith and religous side of the Force, some in the scientific. The scientific explanation works more realistically anyway. DNA, mutation, whatever it be that gives certain individuals others don't have, the ability to do miraculous things. Some more powerful than others. That's Evolution right there. Hello X-Men, Heroes, etc....

A side note...what if it was argued that science is possible because God allows it?

If I were still in high school, I'd probably want to own this series on DVD, but I rarely find myself watching anything more than a few times. For me, The Clone Wars is only worth viewing once.

I know what you mean. I buy a lot of used DVDs from Amazon. I use to buy them from Hollywood Video, but they all closed down.

I don't like buying used dvd's/cd's. I've bought used dvd's before, but honestly it's a rarity. I have the worst luck with discs. I take them out of the machine and cases as slowly and gently as I can...eventually the end up getting scratched! Arrrg! I figure if I buy a used dvd, there will still be some wear and tear on them. Instead of paying 1/2 or 1/3 less than the original price (or whatever they go for) and then having to buy them again because I obviously know nothing about disc maintananc , I like to go ahead and pay the full price. Then if it ends up (more likely WHEN than IF) scratched and skips in the player, I have no ones name to curse but mine.

If I saw a rare disc that I couldn't find anywhere else, I'd probably buy it. But only on the rarest occasion. Like this one Lion documentary boxset (for my mom). It's not really a boxset, more like 4 films on 1 disc. I was all set to buy from Amazon during Christmas when some fucker bought the last copy! What's the point of putting things in your cart if they don't hold 'em for you, I ask you?

Because shipping is overpriced and all the one's I find seem to mostly be overpriced even without the shipping.

Dude! Every week /Film's site has a weekly listing of Target/Best Buy/Fry's...there's another one that's listed...they list their weekly dvd/blu ray deals. It's really a list of the week's new releases, but at the bottom of the posts there's always a listing of at least one store's deals.

Even if you can't go on-line and check the list out or it's not listed, know that there's always a weekly sale going on at these stores. The most notable being tv season boxsets/movie boxsets going for as low as $20! Sometimes you get gift cards and stuff if you buy a certain dvd or combined items. It's a pretty cool weekly thread, they post them around Tue/Thurs.. Hope this helps you out, brotha'!
