I saw the Costner one in theaters. Gave me chills. Costner as Papa Kent ftw! The Russell Crowe one is not as cool.

I think that should be supermans suit in the new 52! I just don't like his V neck collar, and the smallville design is generaly smarter, it uses the yellow better. i like how there's both yellow and red on his belt with no panties. That basicly wins it for me.

No, it looks perfect. The belt has red and yellow on it, that works really well. The new 52 supes design is the boring one. I hate the pants on the pre 52 design though.

The ting is, it'd cost a fuck load of cash to design or make a new superman costume, and it wouldn't we worth it because it'd only be on him for about one episode, so the reused the one from superman returns, but it didn't fit down bellow, so that's why we didn't see much of him in the suit. He'd have probably been suited up for the whole two parter if it fitted him.

I think Tom made so much money on the last couple of seasons he doesn't need to work lol! And yeah, he's doing behind the scenes stuff. I feel like WB may have been behind the lack of him in the suit. Man of Steel was coming out soon, it's possible they didn't want another Superman running around.

I like the way Jim Lee draws the new 52 suit, but not really anyway else. The design doesn't lend itself to anyway else's style it seems. Shane Davis' Earth One design is slick, but overall, from the costume to character, Smallville Season 11's Superman is far ahead of the new 52 and Earth One Superman's.

Yeah, Smallville season 11s suit is my favourate superman suit, prefer it to the orgiionl (hate the pants on the orgional design). If I was incharge of DC, the canon superman would have the smallville season 11 suit on.

The Smallville box sets are at Wal-Mart right now for 14.95 a piece, so if you're missing a season or two, now might be a good chance to get them.
