  • 'Smallville' resurrects....

    (highlight below to read)

This may be the closest thing to a Michael Rosenbaum comeback we get, so enjoy it people: John Glover has signed on to reprise his role as Lex’s late pa, Lionel, for multiple episodes during Smallville‘s 10th and final season, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Glover last graced the Smallville canvas at the end of season 7 when Lex pushed his father out a window to his death. (He appeared briefly in season 8 via archival footage.) The actor is booked for at least two episodes, both of which are expected to air in November.

Glover joins a growing list of Smallville alums rejoining the show in its final season. That list includes John Schneider (Pa Kent), Laura Vandervoort (Supergirl), James Marsters (Brainiac), and Michael Shanks (Hawkman).

    • Rosenbaum said he'd come back if they let him wear a bald cap rather than shave...I think they could pull that off.
Now you'd never call Erwin a "Wussy"
Nor label his working day "cushy"
But you might have to question
      His endless obsession
      With superpositional pussy.

KryptonSite Exclusive: "Bugboy" Is Returning To Smallville!

Smallville's producers were not joking when they said that echoes from the show's past would be returning in the final season.

KryptonSite has learned that the 200th episode, "Homecoming," will feature a return appearance by none other than actor Chad E. Donella as the character "Greg Arkin." Arkin was last seen all the way back in the show's second episode, and aside from a comic book tie-in, the character has not been heard of since he disappeared as a large group of bugs.

"Homecoming" should be airing in October.

Sounds like he'll be used as filler material.

I hated those days. Every week, a new meteor rock freak. Then there were the "Zoners."

Since Darkseid will be the main focus this season, perhaps they'll bring in the Female Furies and Granny Goodness, Mr. Miracle and Barda, Kalibak, Orion and Mantis. I think asking for Parademons would be stretching it. At any rate, that group would certainly give Clark a run for his money in the power department. The only issue would be the small budget which would make the battles minimal at best.

                        • Laura Vandervoort To Suit Up As Supergirl In Smallville Season 10

In a report over at TV Guide, Laura Vandervoort has revealed some new information about what we can expect to see fom Clark Kent 's cousin Kara in the tenth, and final season of the show: "Kara returns in a very heroic way. When I found out this could be my last episode, I thought it would be great to see a quick glimpse of her in the uniform before she takes off."

Well, looks like she's going to get her wish because according to executive producer Kelly Souders, "You really see her as Supergirl. Not the whole outfit, but her wardrobe will have evolved even a little more than Clark's. She's less Kara and way more Supergirl."

Vandervoort also told the site that Kara will take on her new look in a photo shoot after revealing her powers to the world. The beautiful actress then went on to talk about how exactly she'll get away with showing her face and keeping her identity secret. "You'll see Kara in the brunette wig and glasses as a bit of an homage to her other identity from the comics, Linda Lee Danvers."

"Kara has a lot of input down the road in Clark's transformation into Superman," she finished by teasing.
