Wonder Woman - Lucy Lawless. (Okay, this is only a half-joke. I think she's too old to play WW now, but I couldn't think of another STRONG woman like this.

Batman - Kevin Conroy. Sure, he's a voice actor, but give him a change in the suit! I bet he'd be bad ass.

The Flash - Neil Patrick Harris.

Green Lantern (Hal) - Nathan Fillion
Green Lantern (Kyle) - Justin Long
Green Lantern (John) - I was gonna say Terrance Howard, but I'm gonna go with Don Cheadle instead. (Just kidding.) I actually really enjoy LL Cool J's acting. I think he could do it.
Green Lantern (Guy) - I'm drawing a total blank here.

Superman - Brandon Routh did fine, I had no problem with his acting.

Green Arrow - Alan Tudyk. My first thought was "I think he could act it, but I don't think he's built enough to play him", BUT... he was pretty muscled up when he played Alpha on Dollhouse. So I'm gonna go with it. I think he could pull it off. Plus, him and Nathan already have a great chemistry.


Joker - Heath. Fucking. Ledger. I think he really grabbed the 'psycho' of the Joker better than anyone else. Jack's Joker really wasn't any different pre-vat-of-acid to post-vat-of-acid. And I think, while Joker was a bad guy, I don't think he was all the way to PSYCHO until after he became the Joker. The whole "one bad day" thing.


Riddler - James Marsters. I really think he could pull it off. Mix of smart and psycho.

Nightwing - Travis Caldwell currently of The Gates. I'm really enjoying this guy. I think he could make a really awesome Grayson.

Red Arrow/Arsenal - Ryan Kwanten from True Blood fame. The guy can ACT. He plays this stupid, brash, redneck on True Blood. But in real life he's actually an extremely intelligent, well-spoken Australian guy. I'd love to see him as Roy.

john stewart should be played by michael jai white or someone new. i love LL as a rapper but acting wise hes alright.

I know, I know. It's kind of an out-there choice. But especially in the new NCIS, I think he's grown up enough, as an actor, to pull off John in a supporting role. I wouldn't cast him as a lead.

Man Bat: Kiefer Sutherland. He can be the creepy scientist (Dark City), the nocturnal monster (Lost Boys) and has an awesome villain voice for the inevitable CGI scenes (Phone Booth).

Honestly, who would have thought a musclehead like Arnold could pull off Mr. Freeze? Oh wait, he sucked. Let's face it. For every Heath Ledger where the majority of fans were wrong, there are at least three or four picks were they turned out right.

And what is with people's obsession with Alan Tudyk?

They're both amazing actors - Alan even more so, in my opinion. Take his role on Dollhouse for example. He showed up playing this paranoid, geeky, pothead genius, totally sold it. Then shocked everybody when he turned around and was actually Alpha, this cold-blooded, calculating, sociopath, genius murderer. He played the parts so well, that as the pothead, he seemed and dressed very small. You couldn't tell how much he'd been working out and that he'd buffed up a lot until he showed up dressed as Alpha. Blew me away. I always enjoyed his comedy and improv, but his acting is way better than I realized.


Nathan is also a great actor; he may not have the ability to switch personalities and pull it off as well as someone like Alan, but when he feels something, you believe it. When he's pissed off, you're a little worried he might hit you through the TV. He has a great way of projecting what he's feeling and making the audience feel it too. I liken him to a puppy. When a puppies happy, you can't help but smile. When a puppy is sad, you're sad for it. He's just got this uncanny ability to connect with an audience. Well, an audience of warm-blooded people anyway.


On a side note, West, you listen to R. Kelly. Your opinion on what's good and not is totally null and void. How can I respect the opinion of someone who finds R. Kelly to be tasteful music?

Uuuh.... Uuuhhh....

If I were going to cast him for a movie, I'd have him stick to his original Martian form, instead of having him change into a human-esque green bald guy with a bad costume.

That being said. I'd either CGI him or costume him with Doug Jones (whether it was CGI or a costume, I'd graph it to Doug Jones) from Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy. I really enjoy the voice from JLU for MM, so I'd probably go with that if I could. Other than that, I'd probably look for someone who had a deep, booming voice, but spoke precisely and intelligently, so that it was almost weird coming from an alien that looks like that. Like James Earl Jones or Michael Clarke Duncan. BUT, Doug Jones did really really good as Ape Sapien's voice, so I might give him a chance to try voicing MM before I cast someone else.
