This is based on a Robert Howard character who was described as a "warrior pilgrim," so...he kinda needs the hat.

Also, I thought "Van Helsing" as well, and hoping they give it the proper rating and not PG-13 and make a McDonald's Happy Meal out of it.

It does have a Van Helsing vibe to it, but it also seems independent of anything close to Van Helsing- Like, being a GOOD movie.
