Although this technology isn't new. There is a man who has a chip implanted in his brain, so he can control his computer. Not to mention artificial limbs which can be controlled by connecting them to nerves.

I may never be one, but my child (when/if I have one) will be a cyborg.

I don't recall anything like that in Terminator, although I haven't seen the latest one yet.

But that's ok, as long as he/she assimilates my brain first, so my consciousness can live on with it, then it's all good.
