but fucking backstage shit was the bread and butter of the damn Attitude Era!!!

the attitude era backstage shit was better compared to what we have had currently

back then we had shit like the 247 hardcore title defenses, boiler room matches, iron circle match




we even had alot of storylines take place backstage and one being the best wich is who ran over stone cold at survivor series.

today all we have is just promo after promo after promo to where a few shows were said to have like 1 full hour of wrestling wile the other hour is all promos backstage

tonight was one of the best raws in a very long time because we had more wrestling and i hope to god wwe continues it that way

Heyman is a very smart man, no doubt about it. I'd love to see him writing for the WWF (speaking of looking backward, I'll never call it WWE), with all the talent there he could do wonders. I think his personality is what tends to hold him back, he seems to be a "my way or the highway" sort of guy.
I also like how he's not saying "forget the past, throw it away" but rather "use the past to make the future better."

I read brock has signed a one year deal and has 30-35 dates, so he wont be a weekly character at all, and he shouldn't be.

WWE should really use this time when the old guys are back to showcase new talent and try get them over, theirs not many big names left to bring in anymore to save them.

You dont need a sig or AV to be part of the Cenation, Iggy is not ashamed of his love for Cena, it seems you are that's all, accept defeat like your hero did and all will be well.

The Rock said he wasn't coming back to wrestling ever again as well, but I never stopped being a fan of The Rock, the same applies to Brock Lesnar, who clearly gets under your skin, I don't even know what he did to piss you off so much, or maybe it really is that match with Goldberg.

Whatever the case you're going to have to put up with him a for another year atleast.

I think The Undertaker needs to wrap it up, and by that I mean when he should get over this streak business. Flair let Shawn Michaels take him out. Shawn let Undertaker take him out. People go out on losses and its kinda selfish to wrestle once a year and have everyone know its a win in your pocket. Take 2012 to get in the best shape possible and end this shit with a classic match. I don't care if its a 4 way match with him, Cena, Orton and HHH. Everyone doesn't get to go out like Elway.

i dont think it would have been an insult to taker at all

in fact he himself went to kurt angle and stated one year i want you to beat me at wrestlemania

im just trying to figure out if it was vince who wanted to continue the streak because a guy like hhh who may be on the writting staff has to be approved by vince regarding whats going to be on tv

i think to vince if taker did lose he may not sell merchandise well

me personally as much as i love taker its time for him to lose a wrestelamnia because its becoming to predictable to where i cant care about the streak anymore
